Chiropractic Care

Our chiropractors in Baybrook, Texas, can help manage various musculoskeletal pains. They will identify which part of your body needs treatment and use one or a combination of the following procedures:

Hip Alignment

Having uneven hips can be due to different factors such as scoliosis, hip-related injuries, or having legs that have notable length disparity. A hip alignment procedure allows you to move painlessly by strengthening your muscles and enhancing your flexibility.

Spine Alignment

A misaligned spine puts you at risk of many complications. It can decrease your mobility and cause chronic pain and joint stiffness. Constant slouching and improper posture can also cause your spinal discs to be pushed out of proper positioning. Our spine alignment procedure is done either manually or with specialized tools.

Diet & Nutritional Counseling

Our Baybrook clinic provides holistic care not just for specific complications but for the entire body. Chiropractic care and your diet must work in harmony to achieve the best results. For example, patients undergoing a spine alignment treatment should avoid gaining excess weight, so they don’t add more pressure to their back.

Rehabilitation

Rehabilitation is one of the many services that LifeClinic of Baybrook offers. Our treatments help you recover quickly and with less pain. We will help you make the most out of your health and enjoy life to its fullest.

Accident Injury Rehabilitation

Being in an accident can severely affect your quality of life. It leaves victims with physical injuries, such as limb loss, broken bones, or head trauma. The physical and mental effects of the accident can also linger and stay with the victim for months or years. We can help address these complications with our accident injury rehabilitation. Our goal is to help you ease your way back to activity, help you regain your strength, and improve your flexibility.

Sports Injury Rehabilitation

While athletes and regular gym-goers utilize proper techniques during their training or competitions, they can still encounter injuries. These mishaps can result from inadequate warm-ups, muscle and joint overuse, and improper use of equipment. Our sports injury rehabilitation manages your pain to keep it from worsening over time and prevent reinjury.

Work Injury Rehabilitation

Pain brought by a medical condition or accident can take a toll on how an employee functions at work. They can’t perform at their best, and their inefficiency can affect the entire team’s workflow.

Our work injury rehabilitation helps workers remain engaged by assisting them to return to their workplace as quickly as possible. We also provide modifications at work, such as lighter or lesser workload, adjusted work hours, or a different setup.

Pre- and Post-operative Care

Patients can ensure that their surgery goes well by undergoing the necessary preparations beforehand. Preoperative optimization involves preparing patients for a procedure by telling them what to expect during and after the operation. This will let them be physically and mentally prepared for surgery and ease their anxiety.

Meanwhile, post-operative care is undergoing regular health checkups to track their healing. Our doctors will prescribe medications and adjustments to your daily lifestyle. We will help you recover correctly and quickly after your surgery.

Special Services

Chiropractic care and rehabilitation services are only two of the many treatments LifeClinic in Baybrook, Texas, offers. We also have various special services to treat specific conditions. Our doctors use tools and equipment to help you achieve your goals.

Normatec Compression

Normatec is a popular treatment for reducing swollen muscles in athletes. Sessions take around 20 to 30 minutes and can be done before an activity to stimulate blood flow as a warm-up or after doing a strenuous activity to reduce muscle soreness. Normatec helps speed up recovery from common conditions such as Achilles Tendonitis, ankle and knee sprains, and overuse injuries.

Hydromassage

A hydromassage is a form of therapy that uses pressurized water to ease tension in the body. It provides all the benefits of a massage but goes beyond what a pair of human hands can do. This procedure is also a great way to even out the imbalances in one’s body and improves the range of motion of various limbs.

Theragun Compressive Therapy

Theragun is an all-natural and holistic alternative for treating muscle soreness. Instead of painkillers and medications, this procedure uses vibrations to provide quick relief. Rapid movement on your body increases blood flow, hydrates muscle tissue, and improves your range of motion.

Conditions We Treat

Our clinic in Baybrook, Texas, can treat different musculoskeletal conditions. Using chiropractic care and rehabilitation services, we can address various complications, including the following:

Elbow Pain

Elbow pain is commonly caused by overuse while doing various activities, such as playing sports, doing hobbies, and finishing chores or work-related tasks. People who experience elbow pain have difficulty gripping objects. The pain can also come whenever the arm is stretched out, and cause soreness in the elbow bump, and a dull ache when at rest.

Migraine

A migraine is a neurological condition that causes long-lasting pain. This condition is described as a debilitating, pulsing, and throbbing sensation. Migraine trigger points such as light, movement, and sound can cause irritability, nausea, and temporary loss of vision.

Upper Back Pain

The upper back begins at the base of the neck and extends just below the ribcage. Any of these twelve bones can experience a burning or pulling sensation, causing upper back pains. Though it occurs less often than neck and lower back pains, upper back injuries and discomfort should still be worth treating.

What to Expect

1 Examination

During your 1st visit, our providers will hear the story of what brings you in, perform a new patient examination to determine the root cause of your problem, and briefly summarize what was found.

The examination consists of motion tests, palpation, reflex testing, and muscle strength, to help identify dysfunction in movement patterns and poor muscle engagement.

2 Report Of Finding

During your second visit, your provider will recap what was found in the examination, discuss a solution, review what your personal contribution to care will be, and begin treatment on that day.

3 Daily Appointments

On each subsequent visit, our providers will perform routine assessments to ensure you are track with your treatment plan and provide treatment.

Treatment visits typically consist of a combination of:

  • Chiropractic Adjustments: restores, maintains, and optimizes human function by eliminating interference within the joint and soft tissue thus restoring the synergy between your joints, nerves, and muscles. Chiropractic adjustments are only available during sessions with a chiropractor.
  • Integrated Muscle and Joint Therapy (IMJT): an advanced, active form of soft tissue treatment that effectively integrates the mind, muscular, skeletal, and neurological systems to achieve optimum balance throughout the body. IMJT is a patented technique available exclusively at LifeClinic.
  • Rehabilitation: carefully selected exercises and activities used in a specific sequence in order to reinforce changes made with the adjustment and IMJT. Rehabilitation retrains the body’s “movement habits.”
