Five Pescatarian Recipes to Try at Home

You’ve probably heard the term “pescatarian” before. It’s getting more attention because it’s a great alternative to vegetarianism, but it’s not every day that you hear of someone who follows a pescatarian diet.

So what is a pescatarian diet?

If you’re a pescatarian, your typical meal would include fruits, vegetables, eggs, grains, and beans. At the same time, you would almost limit consuming meat and poultry.

However, what sets a pescatarian from a vegetarian is that they eat fish and other seafood, which offer various benefits.

For example, consuming seafood could contribute to an increase in brain health and memory function because of the healthy omega-3 fatty acids. Practicing a pescatarian diet and getting the right amount of seafood can also help lower blood pressure and prevent cardiovascular disease.
