Chiropractic Care

Treat your musculoskeletal conditions by visiting our chiropractors in Cypress, Texas. We offer various methods and techniques in addressing your situation. Our team may do one or a combination of the following procedures:

Spine Alignment

Spine alignment is optimal for balance while doing everyday activities such as walking, playing sports, and other physical performances. Your spine should create a straight line running from your head down to the shoulders and back and extends up to your knees and feet. Misaligned spines are associated with neck and back pains, headaches, and dizziness.

Our chiropractors may approach your condition using manual techniques or with a handheld device called an activator. They will first identify the location of the pain and adjust the joints and tissues. This process will reduce pain and inflammation in the affected area.

Hip Alignment

Our hips keep us upright and give additional support whenever we do rigorous physical activities. However, improper hip alignment can cause debilitating pain and hinder our movement.

Our hip alignment procedure can help relieve pains and slow down the progression of more severe conditions such as osteoarthritis. Our chiropractors may use other modalities depending on your situation.

Diet & Nutritional Counseling

Apart from exercise, nutritional counseling is part of the holistic care that LifeClinic of Cypress offers. One’s diet is vital to ensure that our procedures will be effective. For example, patients undergoing a spine alignment must not gain excess weight to prevent additional strain on their bodies.

Special Services

Apart from chiropractic care and rehabilitation services, our clinic in Cypress, Texas, provides special services to help in your recovery. Our medical team will use specialized tools and equipment during your treatment.

Normatec Compression

Normatec Compression Therapy treats chronic swelling and is popular among recovering athletes. This procedure stimulates blood flow to help your circulatory system deliver much-needed oxygen and nutrients throughout your body. The increased blood flow from this therapy enriches your body to help speed up its recovery.

Hydromassage

Hydromassage provides patients the benefits of a regular massage in a much lesser time. This procedure only takes about 10 to 15 minutes, and you can remain fully clothed. Like conventional massages, our hydromassage services reduce body pains, help you have better sleep, and assist the body in releasing toxins.

Theragun Compressive Therapy

Our Theragun Compressive Therapy treats tense muscles. This form of percussion therapy uses a handheld massage gun that reduces the soreness of your muscles. The vibrations from the tool penetrate the different muscle layers that manual massage cannot reach.

Conditions We Treat

Through different chiropractic care and rehabilitation services, our clinic in Cypress, Texas, can address the following conditions:

Scoliosis

Scoliosis is the sideways curvature of the spine that can appear as early as childhood. Patients with scoliosis have visible physical symptoms such as uneven shoulders, hips, waists, shoulder blades, or a pronounced curve in their back.

Ankle Pain

Ankle pains occur when you twist your outside ankle, causing the ligaments around it to stretch or rip. Sprained or strained ankles can swell or bruise and may take several weeks to heal.

Arthritis

Arthritis is a condition wherein your joints get inflamed and become difficult to move. This condition worsens with age, making it more common among older people. There are two types of arthritis that target different parts of your body. Osteoarthritis affects the cartilage, while rheumatoid arthritis attacks the joints.

What to Expect

1 Examination

During your 1st visit, our providers will hear the story of what brings you in, perform a new patient examination to determine the root cause of your problem, and briefly summarize what was found.

The examination consists of motion tests, palpation, reflex testing, and muscle strength, to help identify dysfunction in movement patterns and poor muscle engagement.

2 Report Of Finding

During your second visit, your provider will recap what was found in the examination, discuss a solution, review what your personal contribution to care will be, and begin treatment on that day.

3 Daily Appointments

On each subsequent visit, our providers will perform routine assessments to ensure you are track with your treatment plan and provide treatment.

Treatment visits typically consist of a combination of:

  • Chiropractic Adjustments: restores, maintains, and optimizes human function by eliminating interference within the joint and soft tissue thus restoring the synergy between your joints, nerves, and muscles. Chiropractic adjustments are only available during sessions with a chiropractor.
  • Integrated Muscle and Joint Therapy (IMJT): an advanced, active form of soft tissue treatment that effectively integrates the mind, muscular, skeletal, and neurological systems to achieve optimum balance throughout the body. IMJT is a patented technique available exclusively at LifeClinic.
  • Rehabilitation: carefully selected exercises and activities used in a specific sequence in order to reinforce changes made with the adjustment and IMJT. Rehabilitation retrains the body’s “movement habits.”
