Certified Athletic Therapist
Chris Broadhurst is the Senior Director of Life Time Sport Medicine Clinic. He works with all levels of active populations, and he specializes in both Rehabilitation and Restorative Solutions for athletes and their families.
Chris is certified in Fascial Distortion Model (FDM) and Selective Functional Movement Assessment. His clinical skills emphasize advanced treatments that are designed to optimize movement, build stability, reduce pain and help your body recover from an active lifestyle. His clinical specialties include advanced soft-tissue therapies based on the Fascial Distortion Model, Shockwave Therapy and Corrective Exercise Solutions.

Michelle graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Kinesiology, then completed her Master of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney, Australia. Her experience ranges from treating orthopaedic conditions, stroke rehabilitation and multiple sclerosis to sport-related injuries.
Michelle’s treatment approaches include manual and soft-tissue techniques to repair and restore muscles/biomechanics, muscle retraining, and motor control strategies to correct movement dysfunction. Following individualized treatment, a specific exercise rehabilitation program will be geared towards the level and goals of the patient.
Michelle has been certified in Active Release Technique and has also completed her certification in the Fascial Distortion Model, Functional Movement Screening and Selective Functional Movement Assessment and Acupuncture.

Aly is a Senior Physiotherapist at Life Time Sport Medicine Clinic Vaughan. He graduated with honours from the University of Toronto’s physiotherapy program and also holds a degree in Neuroscience and Psychology.
Patient care with Aly ranges from client education to direct “hands-on” mobilization to conditioning and sports injury rehabilitation. His training has focused on manual therapy techniques in the treatment of acute, chronic and repetitive strain conditions of the spine and extremities. He has completed rigorous training in McKenzie Spinal Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment, Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy, and The Fascial Distortion Model. Aly’s specialty areas of interest include Sports Injury Rehabilitation, Pre- and Post-Orthopaedic Surgical Care, and Custom Knee Bracing.

Dr. Talha Farooq
Dr. Farooq first learned about chiropractic care, during his 3rd year at York University, where he was studying bio-mechanics. He decided to pursue a career as a Chiropractor because he enjoyed sports and liked the hands on approach to health care. Dr. Farooq considers himself a movement focused therapist. He treats a lot more than back pain. Dr. Farooq specializes in Acupuncture, and also has his certifications in Athletic Movement Assessment and Dynamic Neuromuscular Stablization. He is very dedicated to spending time correcting movement patterns. Dr. Farooq provides a comprehensive approach to manual therapy which consists of both passive and active treatment.

Matthew attended York University for 5 years and completed a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Kinesiology as well as completing a concurrent certificate in Athletic Therapy. After completing his National Board exams, he went on to complete an Advanced Standing diploma in Registered Massage Therapy.
