Doctor of Physical Therapy
Dr. Shelly Solan
Dr. Shelly Solan graduated from Ithaca College in New York State with a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy and a minor in Health Sciences. Since graduating, she has worked in outpatient orthopedics with an emphasis on sports rehabilitation and aquatic therapy.
Her continuing education has allowed for her to get certified in the Graston Technique and Dry Needling, which have both been a great adjunct to her orthopedic practice. She believes in the combination of manual therapy and corrective exercise as a powerful tool for healing.
With a passion for wellness and preventative care, Shelly became certified as a Holistic Wellness and Nutrition Coach. She enjoys working with clients to provide comprehensive care that truly gets to the root cause of their issues to promote total wellness and health optimization.
Shelly has been working as an employee of Raleigh Lifetime as a group fitness instructor since their grand opening in March, 2015. She teaches a variety of classes, including Zumba, Yoga, Gluteus Maxout, TCX, Barre, and other functional strength formats. Shelly is passionate about keeping bodies in motion, and is enthusiastic about creating a positive environment where people can thrive.
In her free time, Shelly enjoys traveling and participating in a variety of outdoor activities with her husband. She loves being a part of the Lifetime community, and is excited to be a part of their professional team.
Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Chris Ullom
Dr. Ullom received his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA and his Doctor of Chiropractic from Cleveland University in Kansas City. While at Cleveland, Dr. Ullom was chosen for an internship at the Kansas City Veterans Administration Hospital and the Kansas City Free Health Clinic for the underprivileged.
When human beings experience pain, trauma, or severe life stress, it is not uncommon for their lives to unravel. Dr. Ullom’s great passion is bringing healing to people who have physical pain and conditions that are limiting their health potential. Dr. Ullom helps his patients, who include children, adults, and athletes, to be able to achieve a pain free life so that they can get back to performing the activities that they love and enjoy.
Dr. Ullom believes that no single approach is the right one for every individual, and so he has been trained in a range of modalities including chiropractic, active release technique, spinal decompression, Graston technique, cold laser therapy, and kinesiotaping.
When not seeing patients, Dr. Ullom enjoys strength training, saltwater fishing, bow hunting for whitetail deer and taking weekend trips to the beach with his wife, son and the family Goldendoodle, Carolina. While at Pacific Lutheran, Dr. Ullom was a 4-year starter on the baseball team and was voted Male Athlete of the Year in 2004.

Jessica Lime is from Tampa, FL. She attended Barton college in Wilson, NC where she played college soccer and received two bachelor’s degrees in exercise science and health promotions. She enjoys the healthy and happy atmosphere here at Raleigh LifeClinic. She chose this career path being a high-level athlete who suffered from various injuries and became engaged in the rehabilitation process of the medical/health industry. In her free time Jessica likes to do weightlifting, hiking and going to the beach
