Dr. Luke Jakubowski
Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Luke Jakubowski graduated from the University of North Dakota and received his Doctor of Chiropractic from Northwestern Health Sciences University. He has been serving patients in the Edina, Southdale, and South Metro area for 15 years. Dr. Luke was inspired to become a chiropractor after being a lifelong athlete who experienced a long list of injuries. The injuries were bad, but not nearly as bad as the guidance, rehab, and advice he got about how to manage them. This sparked a deep passion inside him to become someone who could be a resource to athletes and active individuals to help bring them back from, and prevent, injuries. Due to his intense passion and knowledge, Dr. Luke has been able to help thousands of people over the last 16 years. He enjoys being able to teach people how their bodies work. Additionally, he loves being able to feel and see immediate change through thorough soft tissue work, adjustment, and proper rehabilitation protocols. He is grateful that he can use his hands and mind to create physical, mental, and emotional changes in his patients. Dr. Luke has a particular interest in athletic mechanics. He performs IMJT, Graston, Trigger Point Therapy, Kinesio Taping, and PNF stretching to help create mobility in the soft tissues. His greatest specialty in practice is his knowledge of athletic movement patterns and how to re-establish and advance those patterns through rehabilitation to help prevent injuries. He has experience in post-surgical rehabilitation of knee, ACL injuries, rotator cuff and hip surgeries, acute injury management, and correction of movement patterns to correct chronic issues associated with an active lifestyle.
