Chiropractic Care

Spine Alignment

A spinal adjustment helps correct a misaligned spine while addressing underlying problems like pain and stiffness. This treatment could work for back pain, migraine, and neck pain relief. Spinal realignment often uses a high-velocity, low-amplitude thrust to realign your spine. However, we could perform spinal mobilization depending on factors like patient preference and risky conditions.

Hip Alignment

This chiropractic adjustment targets your hips. A hip alignment restores your hips to their natural position, which could help soothe your pain. Additionally, realigning your hips could help keep pain from returning, make muscles stronger, and restore flexibility and motion to your hip joints. Our hip adjustments can involve massage therapy, chiropractic adjustment, and exercise.

Back Alignment

We can also include a back adjustment in your treatment plan. We’ll perform this adjustment on your upper or lower back. Back alignment can help you address conditions like slipped discs, muscle strains, or stiffness. We adjust your back with the same techniques used in spinal realignment, including the diversified technique or the HVLA thrust.

Full Body Adjustment

This treatment can help improve your whole body’s condition and function in various ways. Adjusting your body could help soothe pain, reduce stress, and improve blood circulation. Moreover, your body can move better with a full body chiropractic adjustment. We use a variety of techniques like manual manipulation to relieve your pain and improve your body’s overall condition.

Spinal Traction

This type of decompression therapy creates further space between your spinal bones by separating them from each other so your spine will feel less pressure. Spinal traction therapy can help address conditions like back pain, herniated discs, and sciatica. We can perform manual or mechanical traction to relieve the pressure on your spine.

Holistic & Preventive Care

Your physical, mental, spiritual, and social needs have an impact on your health and this is where holistic care comes in. We’ll provide traditional and alternative care to help you improve your overall well-being. On the other hand, preventive care helps you avoid possible health issues. This form of chiropractic care involves paying a visit to your doctor and going through medical tests.

Physical Rehabilitation

Accident Injury Rehabilitation

This form of rehabilitation helps you recover from a car accident and continue your daily activities. Our accident injury rehabilitation services focus on treating whiplash, headaches, back pain, and other car crash injuries. Depending on your condition, we can use methods like physical therapy and chiropractic care.

Sports Injury Rehabilitation

If you’ve sustained a sports injury, our sports injury rehabilitation services can help you feel, move, and perform better. This program provides care for various injuries like acute sports injuries, strains, sprains, and hand injuries. Our sports injury rehabilitation services include manual therapy, targeted and personalized exercises, and muscle reconditioning.

Work Injury Rehabilitation

Work injury rehabilitation gives you the care you need after a workplace accident. Undergoing this form of physical rehabilitation helps you return to work as soon as possible. Furthermore, work injury rehabilitation can help you avoid reinjury. You can reach these goals with treatments like manual therapy and work conditioning.

Pre & Post-Operative Care

In some cases, a surgery can correct a musculoskeletal injury. Our pre and post-operative care will help you prepare for surgery and recovery. Pre-operative care gets your body and mind ready for an operation. Meanwhile, post-operative care makes sure that you’re healing properly through therapeutic tools, techniques, exercises, and functional training.

Conditions We Treat

Knee Pain

Knee pain occurs within your knee, and it usually occurs after an injury or accident. But in some cases, conditions or factors like arthritis and infection could hurt your knee. Knee pain can be acute or severe with varying symptoms. Walking problems and limping, for example, are signs of an aching knee.

Herniated Disc

If the soft center in a spinal disc slips out of your spine, you could have a herniated disc. This condition can cause arm or leg pain, numbness, or muscle weakness. Slipped discs often stem from disk degeneration. However, lifting heavy loads with your back muscles or falling can also lead to a herniated disc.

Repetitive Stress Disorder

A repetitive stress disorder is an injury you get from repeated movement. This condition can occur anywhere within your upper body, including your elbows, wrists, and hands. Repetitive strain injuries produce acute to severe symptoms like pain, stiffness, tingling, and weakness. Examples of RSIs include carpal tunnel syndrome and bursitis.

Back Pain

You can feel back pain anywhere in your back. This discomfort can stem from back injuries or conditions like slipped discs and sciatica. Your back pain could range from simple muscle aches to sharp pain. Moreover, you could experience radiating or worsening aches when your back hurts.

Hip Pain

Hip pain can occur within your hip joint. But most of the time, you could feel this pain in your groin or thigh. You can get painful hips from conditions such as arthritis, fractures, sciatica, cancer, or other joint or bone problems. Symptoms of hip pain include limping, joint pain, swelling, and tenderness.

Sprains & Strains

Sprains affect your ligaments and strains affect your muscles and tendons. Sports, exercise, accidents, posture, and repetitive movement could put you at risk for any of these injuries. Sprains and strains cause joint pain and swelling, less flexibility, and limited range of motion. A sprain comes with bruising, while a strain triggers muscle spasms.

What to Expect

1 Examination

During your 1st visit, our providers will hear the story of what brings you in, perform a new patient examination to determine the root cause of your problem, and briefly summarize what was found.

The examination consists of motion tests, palpation, reflex testing, and muscle strength, to help identify dysfunction in movement patterns and poor muscle engagement.

2 Report Of Finding

During your second visit, your provider will recap what was found in the examination, discuss a solution, review what your personal contribution to care will be, and begin treatment on that day.

3 Daily Appointments

On each subsequent visit, our providers will perform routine assessments to ensure you are track with your treatment plan and provide treatment.

Treatment visits typically consist of a combination of:

  • Chiropractic Adjustments: restores, maintains, and optimizes human function by eliminating interference within the joint and soft tissue thus restoring the synergy between your joints, nerves, and muscles. Chiropractic adjustments are only available during sessions with a chiropractor.
  • Integrated Muscle and Joint Therapy (IMJT): an advanced, active form of soft tissue treatment that effectively integrates the mind, muscular, skeletal, and neurological systems to achieve optimum balance throughout the body. IMJT is a patented technique available exclusively at LifeClinic.
  • Rehabilitation: carefully selected exercises and activities used in a specific sequence in order to reinforce changes made with the adjustment and IMJT. Rehabilitation retrains the body’s “movement habits.”
